    • Lower the drinking age? Some colleges say maybe

      A group of 100 college and university leaders wants to talk about the drinking age again, arguing that raising in to 21 in the 1980s has not reduced binge drinking. The Amethyst Initiative encourages a national conversation about whether the drinking age should be lowered to 18.

    • Park board sends Power & Light District a message on dress code

      The Kansas City park board used some unusual leverage Tuesday to address complaints about the dress code at the Power & Light District. The board said it would not approve two signs that the district wanted until it got more answers from the Cordish Co.
